Organizer 1:
Hsi-Chieh Lee received a BS degree in Mathematics from National
Taiwan University, Taiwan, in 1989. He also received MS and PhD
degrees in Computer Science and PhD degree in Engineering Management
from University of Missouri-Rolla in year 1994, 1996, and 2003
respectively. He served as the dean of the Office of Academic
Affairs and the dean of College of Health and Nursing and is now an
associate professor of Department of Computer Science and
Information Engineering at National Quemoy University, Taiwan. His
research interests include Computational Intelligence, High
Performance Computing, Bioinformatics, and Computer Networks.
Organizer 2:
Jui-Chien Hsieh received a BS degree in Biomedical Engineering from
Chung Yuan Christian University, Taiwan. He received his MS and Ph.D
degree in Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University, USA. He is
currently an associate professor of the Department of Information
Management at Yuan Ze University, Taiwan. His research interests
include Medical Informatics, Telecardiology, Biomedical Signal and
Image Processing, and Computational Biology: Cardiac Ion Channel
Modeling.

Recent advancements in medicine and information technology are
providing the potential opportunities of useful tools for health
promotion. ICMHI/ICHSM 2021 will feature a special session on
intelligent healthcare and pharmaceutical care. The aim of this
special session is twofold: first, it explores the accessibility,
usability, and effectiveness of Internet of Things to support
healthcare and long-term care. Second, it evaluates pharmacist’s
contribution to the care of individuals through information
technology in order to optimize medicines use and improve health
outcomes.
Papers should focus on describing experiences that can benefit the

Ya-Ming Shiue is a Professor at Chia-Nan University of Pharmacy and
Science and also in charge of the Director of Library and
Information Center. Shiue’s work focuses on game-based learning and
mobile learning and collaborates actively with researchers in
several other disciplines of telemedicine healthcare. His research
interests lie in the area of applied information technology in
healthcare, ranging from home medical care, long-term care, and
pharmaceutical care.

Dr. Bolormaa Purevdorj works as the Chair for Population Health Research Center and Adjunct Faculty at School of Public Health, Health Sciences University of Mongolia. Dr. Bolormaa is a dermatologist and public health professional having over 20 years work experience in health administration management and mental health. Bolormaa is also currently a DrPH student and NIH fellow trainee in Health Education and Health Administration at the Loma Linda University School of Public Health, US, and a PhD student in Dept. Preventive Medicine, at Tottori University Medical School in Japan.
One of her biggest contributions in the field of public health was in alcohol and tobacco control law changes in Mongolia since 2009.

existed electronic medical records (EMR) in views of technologies,
methods, applications, process reengineering, benefits and

Organizer 1:
Dr. Jinn-Rung Kuo graduated from Department of Pharmacy in National Taiwan University, in 1986. He also received the degree of Doctor of Medicine in National Cheng-Kung University College of Medicine in 1994. He gained Ph.D. degree from Institute Medical Research in National Cheng-Kung University in 2011.
Dr. Jinn-Rung Kuo has 20 years of experience in academic research and teaching in the fields of Neurotrauma. He serves member of a council in Taiwan Neurotrauma Society. He also is a chief of medical education in ChiMei medical center. He devoted in medical education for more than 10 years.
Organizer 2:
Dr. Chung-Feng Liu received his MS degree in Computer Science and Engineering from National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan. He received his Ph.D degree in Information Management from National Chung-Cheng University, Taiwan. He is currently the director of Center for Big Medical Data and AI Computing at Chi Mei Medical Center, Taiwan. He ever served as Professor and Chair of Department of Information Management, Chia Nan University of Pharmacy & Science, Taiwan. His research interests include healthcare Informatics, hospital information systems, big data and AI computing.
